The Emergency Department is a full-service, state-of-art facility that provides professional, opportune and quality care for patients.  It has two offices equipped with an exploration table, scale, sphygnomanometer with stethecope, ophthalmoscope and otoscope integrated in the exploration table as well as a sink.

There is also a cubicle for tending to wounds and 10 cubicles for observation and treatment equipped with a gurney, a cardioscope and a pulse saturation machine, sphygnomanometer, oxygen and air sprouts, as well as a vacuum system all set on the wall for space for carrying for the patient, with infusion pumps, as well as Pasteur tables with all the necessary material.

The department has a special Resuscitation Unit equipped with: special bed with portable chassis allowing for the taking of X-rays; portable ultrasonograph; vascular Doppler; baumanometer; air, oxygen and vacuum system integrated in the wall; cardioscopy with defibrillator; electrocardiogram; trans-thoracic pacemaker; 3D ultrasonograph; tomography, MRI and Hyperbaric Chamber, among others.
